A big happy 25th birthday to the love of my life and best friend, Eric Warner Taylor! Eric, you are my moon and stars! I don't know what I would do without you! Thank you for choosing me to spend forever with! I hope you have the best birthday yet! xx

Happy Monday my loves! I got back late last night from Utah and I already miss the little vacation and family downtime! The weather was a little too hot for my taste (how will I ever survive Florida) but beautiful sunshine nonetheless. So while I take a moment to collect myself, and mentally prepare for heading back to work, here's some photos from the past week. Life lately according to the iPhone.
^^ Afternoon walks around the neighborhood with the husband bring pretty flowers.
^^ At our good friends wedding in Salt Lake. The photos blurry, but still a fav.
^^ Yara & Nico!!!
^^ Sending our Nico off to married bliss. Tears were shed (on my part). Yay to Nico and Yara. Love you both!!
^^ King. Kong. Kone. Can you believe that ice cream cone was $1.50. Super cheap and super good!
^^ The Awful Waffle. A must when visiting Utah.
^^ Train ride out to Salt Lake City.
^^ My heart.

^^ Taken of Utah last January from iPhone.
Happy Wednesday my loves! I'm writing to you from the airport right now, about to board my flight in the next ten minutes for Utah! I can't wait to get there and celebrate the marriage of our great friend and his lady love! I brought my big camera to force myself to take pictures. So hopefully the next time I blog I'll have some original pictures to share. Bring on Cafe Rio, Sammy's, and anything else my little heart desires. - xx TJ

I ran across this quote the other day, and since then I haven't been able to get it out of my head. I couldn't help feeling, do I fit these words? Am I just like everyone else? Is my blog like everyone else? It's so easy to get into a routine, to be on autopilot and make the decisions that you think you should make. To buy the clothes that everybody wears. To watch the same shows, listen to the same music, to think the same as your friends and those you look up to. To write on here the words I think you all want to hear.

In return we lose ourselves. We can't even remember the way we really feel about things; we can't decipher what is our own thought and that of others. This week I'm really reflecting on myself, getting back to the root of who I am. To wear whatever the heck I want to wear, most likely my favorite Peter Pan t-shirt my mom bought me for my 25th birthday. To eat a giant bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream after dinner and for once not think about how much I'm going to hate myself after it. To record an absurd amount of videos of me lip syncing to Avril Lavigne (from her 'Let Go' album) because that's what I do in my spare time apparently. To finally delete those people on my Facebook that made fun of me in high school but 'added' me as soon we graduated. To say it's okay if I have my emotional roller coaster days and not feel pressured to fake a smile. To not just write a post about nothing just so I can say I blogged. To be proud to look back at this little corner of the Internet that I have now spent years working on.

These are just little snippets of who I am, and I can't wait to spend the rest of this week reclaiming me.

So if you know anything about me you know that I'm obsessed with MK&A. Yep, love them! Seen every tv show, movie, interview, magazine, book.. you get the picture. So I paid a little homage to them on my tumblr this afternoon in honor of their 27th birthday. Does this make anyone else feel old? This pretty much means that Full House aired almost 27 years ago people. Crazy! Now excuse me while I watch a little Our Lips Are Sealed, Holiday in the Sun, It Takes Two, and Passport to Paris.

What are some of your favorite MK&A movies? I know you watched them too ::winks::

Yes, I am quite aware that these photos are old. Very old. It's been far too long since I've asked the mister to take some outfit photos which needs to stop immediately! Especially when we will be in sunny Florida soon and I'll have no excuse to blame it on the weather. So in the meantime let's reminisce on some of my outfit posts in the past 2 1/2 years. Craaaaazy! And here's to more outfit posts coming up in the near future!

Scenes from the weekend according to my iPhone. The one problem about being the photographer, you always end up behind the camera. Note to self, take some selfies / outfit photos ASAP (as reminded by my girls, Stephanie and Anna)!

Okay I'm excited that I have a job and everything, don't get me wrong. But I am not loving this lack of time to do really just about anything. The bed's not made, piles of laundry have to be done, there's a clean load of dishes in the washer that have yet to be put away... I can't even remember the last time I made dinner. (Secretly I love that last fact. I hate cooking!) And of course all the free time I do have I spend day dreaming about laying out on the beach, tan lines and constant sunshine. Looks like I'm going to have to do a little shopping. Pretty much everything above I'm drooling over.

45 days and counting!!
