NYMPHENBURG PALACE

Okay, I have literally just experienced one of the most romantic places I have ever been to in my entire life! Of course Eric had to be at work during this momentous occasion, so I ventured the half an hour walk to Nymphenburg Palace myself, and boy I'm SO happy I did. I didn't pay to go inside of the palace buildings. Instead I opted to walk for 3 hours around the property (which showed me maybe half of what it all had to offer). There were a hundred different paths you could walk on that would lead you to one incredible thing after another. A beautiful manmade waterfall, sculptures upon sculptures, bridges, other "smaller" castle buildings, churches, colosseums, you name it. And don't even get me started on the swans, they were everywhere!! I'm telling you, this place is magical. I had to put my camera away after a while because the amount of photos I took was kind of ridiculous, but these were some of my faves. Enjoy!
And a very happy birthday to my baby sister! Happy 20th Katherine Louise!!

  5. Oh my!! It looks like you could be walking around Mr. Darcy's estate, Pemberley. I'm thinking of the scene in the Keira Knightly version of Pride & Prejudice (best. movie. ever.) where she, her aunt, and her uncle stand up from the carriage and after seeing the estate for the first time, their faces show complete shock and amazement.
I don't if you can tell... but I have an obsession with anything Jane Austen.
