The Christmas season is my favorite time of year, but like any big holiday we can succumb to the holiday blues and stress of present shopping, upcoming family visitors, travels, "unsatisfied" expectations, etc. Some of my go to holiday pick-me-ups is popping in that perfect movie or listening to the best tunes that encompass everything happy, romantic, funny, festive, refreshing, and simplistic. Here are some of my top picks that I have already indulged in and I hope they become yours too!

+ The Holiday
+ Love Actually
+ How the Grinch Stole Christmas
+ Home Alone
+ The Santa Clause
+ Elf
+ It's a Wonderful Life
+ National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

+ A Charlie Brown Christmas

SONGS

I eat cookies for breakfast without one concern for calories.
Also countdown-y things make every day leading up a celebration. Our Advent calendar is as fun for me as it is for the kids and elf of the shelf has been a great way to bring a little fun to each day.
