CINCO DE MAYO

May is quickly shaping up to be one of my favorite months! Can it really be May already? Speaking of May, I hope you all had a fabulous and safe Cinco de Mayo! Eric and I decided last minute to head out to the The Matador for dinner. We needed a proper Tex-Mex meal to celebrate in the festivities. Lucky for us the wait was only 40 minutes (definitely worth it)! Since the weather was perfect we walked around downtown and checked out the local dollar book store while we waited. Eric was also a big fan of my hairstyle last night (tutorial coming soon) so he snapped a few of the photos above. Love him! We ended our night binge watching Game of Thrones and Mad Men... it was a late night. How did you celebrate your Cinco de Mayo?!
If you are ever in the northwest area, make sure to hit up The Matador! I would highly recommend getting the Texas Size Nachos! But be warned, this "starter plate" is definitely a meal of its own! xx

  27. My Cinco was about the same...binge watching GoT and Mad Men :) It looks like you enjoyed more Mexican food than I did, though. I'm abroad in Ireland, it's impossible to find anything Mexican. My first meal back home is street tacos, done and decided :) I love your blog xx
