YOU OUGHTA KNOW: BETHANY MENZEL

Happy Tuesday readers! Today I am just so excited to introduce a new feature to my site, 'You Oughta Know' which will spotlight different bloggers that I want to learn more about. Each of the bloggers I choose are ones that I have slowly come to admire whether that be through their career choices, creative skills or just their overall way of life. I can't wait to get to know these lovely individuals, and I hope it is something you all will enjoy too! Because let's face it, there are a lot of people that we 'oughta know'! Style Preference: I'm not sure if I can really name my style, I think I go through phases and I'm slowly narrowing down what "my style" is. I love baggy basics (white, black or grey... I'm not much of a colour person), tight high-waisted jeans, loud leggings, leather, cut off tees, toques, and ankle boots. Those seem to be the things I wear almost everyday.
Spare time choices: I spend a lot of time working on blogs, (whether its mine or some one else's). So lots of time in Lightroom and Photoshop. But I also love going to the beach or for coffee with my husband and puppy, and whenever I can convince David I love to go for long(ish) drives to Seattle, Whistler, or Kelowna.
Next big adventure: I think 2013 has lots in store!! Not necessarily things I'm sure of or "posting" about yet but I've enjoyed the start of this year so far. It's great to be in a phase of life where there is so much unknown, so many possibilities of where life could take us. I hope that never changes, I would like to never get to comfortable so we can always be available for what God may present us with.
You oughta know: I love my dog more than almost anything. I have an untamable passion for donuts (and recently started making my own!). I move around furniture AT LEAST once a month. I'm messy. I love Jesus. If I could I would wear the same outfit everyday. Mary Kate & Ashley for life.
