PREPPING FOR SUNDANCE

Things are going to get a little quiet on this site for the next few days while Eric and I get ready to head off to the Sundance Film Festival. We haven't been to Utah since last June so we can not wait to hit up all of our old favorite spots. Of course Cafe Rio will be making an appearance. As well as seeing old friends and visiting family. This will be my second time working the event, and fingers crossed the experience is even better this time around! To all my Utah friends, how are the roads around the Park City, SLC and Provo area? We are thinking of renting a car if the roads aren't too bad. Hoping to come back with tons of fresh photographs! In the meantime, don't forget to enter this giveaway over here.   2. You have no idea how jealous I am of you right now (just as I was last year haha) I've always always always wanted to go to Sundance, I was so happy when it came to London last year but still hope to visit the original one year. Please take loads of photos so I can live it through you

  25. ahhh i am so jealous. i have always wanted to go to the sundance film festival.
    we tried to get tickets here because this will be our last year here, but we couldnt get any. sooo sad, guess i'll miss out on that dream.
    my husband will get to go up to sundance for a recruitment fair though for his major, kind of cool.
    sounds like you will have so much fun!
    and the roads aren't that bad, they've been getting better, and they are better than they were before. all of the main roads are fine, but things aren't really that bad, more just the side walks. haha.

  26. Congrats on going to Sundance! I've never been when I lived in Park City so I'm pretty jealous!
    Like people have said, the roads aren't bad. All of the main roads have been plowed & we won't be getting any more snow.

  37. The roads are good in SLC and Provo. No idea what Park City looks like. I am SOOO stoked for Sundance!!! This is going to be my first time going. I am so jealous that you can be a volunteer!! I am not old enough yet :( biggest bummer ever! Next year maybe!

  58. The roads in Provo are clear, I can't say for Salt Lake or Park City because I haven't been up there in a week or so. But granted knowing Utah, even the roads in Provo won't be clear tomorrow so this is probably not helpful in the slightest. haha

    Cafe Rio! Definitely had that for dinner last night. Chicken burritos enchilada style, yes please! I'm glad that we share the same appreciation for the amazingness of that place.

    I'll keep my eyes out for you because I'll be going to a few shows too so if I run into you, you better believe I'm going to say hi. :) haha I'll try not to be too creepy blog stalkerish though I'm not making any promises. ;) haha just kidding, have a safe trip!

  82. As of today the roads around Provo/up the canyon are fine, but you never know! If you rent a car, get something that drives well in the snow & you'll be fine. Even though I've lived in Provo for 6.5 years (except my 18 month mission) I have never gone to Sundance during the film festival. Maybe next year
