MERRY CHRISTMAS

Source unknown.
Happy Christmas Eve! I can't believe we made it. Last week was pretty rough I was beginning to think this day would never come. But here it is and I could not be more excited! If you follow me on instagram then you know my weekend was filled with gingerbread houses, temple dates, family visits, scrumptious food, and wrapping presents. Today we are taking family pictures for the Christmas card (don't judge that we are so far behind), watching holiday movies, visiting with friends, going out to dinner, doing a Taylor family Target tradition buying each other silly gifts for $5.00, and ending the night at my families Christmas Eve service by candlelight. Then it's off to bed so Santa can make all the magic happen and bring the best day of the year! Merry Christmas!

What are your Christmas Eve traditions?

  3. That Target tradition is so fun! And we're sending out New Year's cards this year, because I didn't want to be pressured to get our Christmas cards out on time. ;)

Tim is away working this year, and our relatively new little family doesn't have any Christmas Eve traditions just yet (maybe that's because I only got him home the first Christmas we were married!), but my family's tradition was always to go to Christmas Eve Candlelight service at our church, then come home and unwrap one gift (always PJs).

    Happy Christmas Eve!

  4. Merry christmas eve! I hope you have a wonderful christmas lady. We don't have any real traditions yet, but the whole day has been spent doing things like watching christmas movies, eating chocolates and getting the house clean for the big day. I can't wait! x

  31. Hope you had a lovely Xmas! What a fun tradition. We sing happy birthday to Jesus and have some sort of sweet breakfast dish to blow out candles hot him. Really makes us remember the true reason for Christmas before we focus on opening presents. Sweet tradition.

  36. Merry Christmas doll! That all sounds terrific! Especially the target shopping part. I love any reason to go into target! As far as traditions go Jason and I attend my family Christmas Eve dinner then we come home and open gifts because we always over sleep and arrive at his families Christmas lunch late. We then go from there to see a film with Jason's best friend Cameron.
