WEEKEND PLANS + A GIVEAWAY WINNER

Happy Friday everyone! Before I say anything else I just wanted to send out a big hug to all of you for your support the other day. Your kind words, emails, texts, and Facebook comments were so beautiful and heartfelt, I was completely overwhelmed with love and acceptance. You are all beautiful inside and out! All I can say is that I am just so happy that today is Friday! Not exactly sure what this weekend will entail past snuggles, wrapping presents, and Christmas movies. Who knows, maybe Christmas tree shopping will happen if the rain lets up for a little bit. Fingers crossed! What all do you have planned for the weekend?

And as promised, the winner of last weeks Thanksgiving giveaway can be found HERE. Make sure to check out if you are the winner!

  21. Thanks for stopping by my page yesterday, for in doing so you have led me to yours. Blogging is a place where each one of us can embrace each others individuality. I also can also be guilty of "comparing" myself to others and I agree that it's one of the biggest downers out there. Our generation has given "keeping up with the Jones" a whole different meaning. Your blog is wonderful and I can tell that I'm really going to enjoy getting to know you better. Have a great weekend :-)

  24. Oh I'm sending dry weather vibes your way so you can go out and pick your tree!! Not that rain has ever stopped us PNW girls, right? ;)

And I went back and read that post you wrote on comparison...you were so real and shared raw emotions...many of which I'm familiar with. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and children...but there are days I catch myself wishing I would have graduated school with my bachelors before having kids, or I wish I had the motivation like others I know to go back and finish school as a mom. *sigh* And then money (not a fan of the stuff) is always a stresser and definitely has me comparing our situation to others'. Not a good habit. Like you said, one day at a time...it's definitely a life long pursuit. Hope all of that made sense. And I hope you know that you're an inspiration to me and so many...your positive attitude is contagious, I love your witty writing, your style rocks, and your love for you husband is AWESOME. Hope you have a wonderful weekend TJ! xo

  26. Hope your weekend is going well! I used to love going Christmas tree picking with my dad. We'd go to the Christmas tree farm down the road and saw down our favourite one and then I'd "help" as we'd drag it all the way to the car.

  27. We all feel like that. I read your post about comparison. I always have to realize that everyone has their own path and is doing what they need to at that moment. You are doing the best you can and I think your blog and wardrobe is adorable!
