HAPPY NOVEMBER 1ST

Happy November 1st my fabulous readers! We have finally gotten to one of my favorite months! There's nothing like that peaceful time right before the crazy holiday season where everyone is happy, full of warm food and spending time with family. It's that time of year to build a fire, cuddle up, eat left over Halloween candy, and watch festive movies. I will admit, I'm one of those weird people who won't allow themselves to watch or listen to anything Christmas-y until Thanksgiving day. But all these holiday commercials and local street decorations are making it hard. I'm anxiously patiently waiting for you Christmas. And of course, love the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!
What are you looking forward to this month?

P.S. Make sure to check out this months lovely sponsors on the left sidebar!

  3. I am desperately trying NOT to listen to Christmas music... yet! That's a difficult task when I bought a "new" Christmas movie and I've been adding some new CD's to my WMP. *sigh* For now, I am skipping over the music. :)

    Happy November, TJ!

  4. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Sure Christmas is great, but any excuse to eat for 3 days straight is a winner in my book. Plus, my birthday is this month, so November is the best! :)

  7. Happy November 1st! I wish my home had a fire place for a good cold Indy night. November gets terribly cold here in Indy. It basically turns into winter here. To sit in front of a nice fire with Jason and an ol'fashion. Oh how wonderfully romantic...Wait did I just type that?

  31. I am so excited for Thanksgiving! I love every holiday that rolls around, including ST Patrick's day. I guess I'm just a very festive person haha :). Isn't it crazy to know that other countries don't celebrate the same holidays that we do? I've always thought that was strange :P.

  32. I love Thanksgiving, too! That's also when we start listening to Christmas music, and our Christmas tree always goes up the Friday or Saturday of that weekend.

I'm especially looking forward to experiencing the holidays with Maile this year -- There's something amazing about seeing it all through the eyes of your child!

  33. besides the obvious thanksgiving (foooood!) with family, i'm excited to meet my little baby boy this month. and i love black friday, but since his due date is two days before thanksgiving, i guess i'm looking forward to cyber monday this year! ;)

  34. My sister's bridal shower is coming up this month! Which reminds me... I'd better get on the list of projects for that! :)

Loving your new little logo up over there!

  35. I try to limit my Christmas exposure so I can really appreciate it. If I start too early, but December 25th, it's not enjoyable anymore.

  36. looking forward to attending the night-before-the-parade party here in nyc, where we go to an apartment fancier than any i've ever seen, and watch the giant balloons come to life on the street below. perhaps we'll stick around for the parade this year, too :)

  37. I'm excited mostly for the food lol

  38. I agree TJ! November is a favorite of mine too! (along with July...because there's almost always at least one family reunion during that month, and I love family reunions:)

I love that November includes gorgeous autumn weather with the last bit of gorgeous, colorful leaves and foliage...and fresh snow creeps in at the end! And it has a day devoted to counting our blessings and stuffing ourselves full of delicious turkey and potatoes. *cheers* to that! :)

  39. I am also anticipating the holidays. I can't wait to wear glittery accessories and wrap gifts. I'm going on a long vacation and I don't have time to put up holiday decor before I leave. I kind of feel bad that I'm coming home December 21st to no Christmas Tree. It's a little depressing but hey I'll have a tan to make up for it.

    Have a good one <3
