HAIR-SPIRATION

With a new year quickly lingering, this is the time my body aches for change. And one of the first things I reach for is the hair. To cut, to not cut? To go lighter or darker? I'm pretty set on what my decision will be and can't wait for a fresh change. I'll leave you guessing. But in the mean time I can't help but obsess over all of these little gems. You can find more of my hair-spirations over here. And a very happy Thanksgiving eve to my American readers!!

What things do you look forward to with a new year?

  3. I have long hair. Sometimes its hard to find interesting and new ways to wear it up And with little ones I have to wear it up. I'm not brave enough to cut it short though. photo number two is lovely!

  7. i love changing my hair--just hate to pay the price to do so! ha! can't wait to see what change you make ;) i told myself i wouldn't cut my hair until it's halfway down my back, but i'm itchy to cut it already! however, i know i'll regret it--it takes way too long to grow back! going to follow your hair board on pinterest...

  8. My hair is so long, I always debate cutting it but then convince myself not to. Can't wait to see what you end up doing!

  11. i'm doing really well with growing my hair out so i can probably pull off a few of these...except for the twist one! perhaps i could get my hairdresser friend to give it a try...

  12. Beautiful, I love #4! Every new year I seem to cut my hair about 10 inches. I'm thinking I'm going to keep it longer for a while :)

  13. I am totally with you on wanting change for the new year and hair seems to be on the top of my list! Loving the simple kate bosworth look.

  14. Hair is always a fickle subject for me. Some days I want it longer, some days shorter, some days with different colors. And I like it just the way it is on other days.

  15. #6....her hair is BEAUTIFUL!
    I can't wait to see what you will do! {even though your hair is already gorgeous}

  16. Definitely love number 3, but that's only because I am a brunette! I used to be a hairstylist before I got into events so I'm definitely loving hair inspiration on your Pinterest!

  19. I love mixing up my hair every 6 months or so, even if it's just side bangs, a darker color or new length. I love Kate's look for you!

  20. I've been so tempted to do something drastic to mine too! I go back and forth about going red...or maybe bangs! Love all these looks. Excited to see what you've done!

  21. I've been debating changing my hair too. Now that my wedding is over, I'm thinking BANGS. I always want them and then once I get them I immediately start growing them out! So obviously, I love picture #3.

  22. I just went through this too and decided on a dramatic change. I went red and cut bangs and I'm in love with the change! Happy Thanksgiving, and I can't wait to see how you change your hair

  24. Neat ideas, TJ! Love the braids (2) - some variation of braiding seems really big this year. Come on... you aren't even going to give us a hint on your new 'do!? LOL! It's always fun to do something different.

Hope you and your family enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! :)

  30. :-) I love the feeling of a fresh hair cut, but long hair is so beautiful! Judging from the pictures you put up, I am going to guess that you will leave it long, but dye it. :-)

  31. I think you'd be beautiful with any of those hairstyles - but I'm gonna vote for ice-blonde like #1! Stunning!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've got #2 pinned, as well! I just need a liiittle more length.

Oh, and I did stuff my face and it was amazing!

  47. I always toy around with cutting my hair, but I just can't do it. I might donate to Locks of Love (again) down the road, but my long hair is such a part of me. It probably sounds superficial, but at least I have sacrificed it before! I like number 4!

  48. i have such a girl crush on kate bosworth. how does she look so effortlessly cool all the time?
