today is the first day of june. i'm still a little in shock because:
1. this year seems to be going by way too fast, and
2. the mister and i are packing up and moving back up to seattle in exactly two weeks.

this whole moving thing is really bitter sweet actually. i feel like the second i really started making good friends and loving living here (besides the absurd heat) it's time to say goodbye. i'm going to miss the close mountains, the creamery, the change in seasons, the friends we have made, the cheap gas prices, the dollar theatre, and this little first starter "home" we have had for the past 10 months. but i am excited to get back to old friends, familiar territory, panera bread, the rain, and the next home the mister and i will share. i can't wait to decorate and really make it our own.
so if i seem distant the next few weeks it's probably because i am busy packing up our life here and enjoying these last few times in utah.
happy june 1st!

  3. Aw I know moving is hard. It's going to be so nice when you are all settled again. It's so funny how we get accustomed to our environments we grow up in. Me growing up in Southern CA couldn't imagine living somewhere where it rained all the time and it's totally the opposite for you lol.
