flower child

i always said that if i could be born in a different time period it would be the 70's.
i'm just all about the peace and love man ::winks::

oh man, it's been such a beautiful weekend to say the least. it reached 80. i'm talking record! to celebrate i enjoyed some delicious ice cream shakes, did a little hiking, watched some inspirational talks, ate yummy filled crepes, and pulled the ultimate april fools prank ever. to all of you who it reached, no, there is no baby T on the way. it's still a party of two over here! sorry mom, and practically my entire contact list who called to congratulate me. i've learned my lesson...

and i promise, the next time i make this kind of announcement it will be real!

  8. Lucky you! I was coming back from my parents' and a 50 mile drive felt like going through 4 different climate zones. from a sunny, lovely one, through a snowstorm then sunny again, then another snowstorm - couldn't see a thing on the road and then gorgeous sunny one again.
Easter is meant to be cold and miserable too. :(

  15. That skirt is TO DIE FOR. I live in maxi skirts and dresses. They're comfortable, yet on trend and cute! I was so excited to break out some of my maxis this weekend.

And love the maxi skirt--I am having a love affair with maxi akirts at the moment but mine are all a bit too long and I have to wear them with heels.

  30. Love the hippie vibe look...so chic and boho!

We've pulled the "I'm pregnant" one too many times on my parents. Now that we have four children, it's not even a joke anymore. Actually, now that I think of it, it would be the perfect joke because having another would be so out there.

  40. Love the hippie, flower child look. Maybe it's cause I'm a little bit of a hippie at heart. I'm even seriously considering dreads these days.

I pulled the pregnant joke way too many times for anyone to believe it anymore. I think what would be even funnier would be to really announce your pregnancy on April Fools and then the next day be like, "no really, we are pregnant." Then everyone who thought it was an April Fools joke would actually be fooled. And the the universe would probably implode.

  41. you look ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.. i mean seriously stunning.. you are the chic-est flower child i ever did see!!!

  42. That stinks :( I want a baby T :P Sorry I haven't been around much...busy in blog world as it is in real world... *sigh* I love your outfit! And the skirt...I want! :)It wouldn't look as good on me as it does you though :) It has been 80s and 70s here average. I'm scared of the summer now... Sierra
