currently, instead of little notes

i was over at skunkboy creatures the other day, obsessing over every little thing as per usual, when i stumbled across this lovely "currently" post, so of course i had to join in.

obsessing over: everything josh hutcherson and jennifer lawrence (better know as peeta and katniss). honestly, it's bad. they just need to get together already. and yes, i'm aware she's a good inch taller than him but when has that ever stopped anyone. case in point: katie holmes and tom cruise, nicole kidman and tom cruise or jennifer lopez and mark anthony.

working on: getting through these emails and getting back to having a social life. i haven't been too successful, but i did go to a radiohead concert the other day, and am having an all day movie marathon with my bestie tomorrow. baby steps.

thinking about: my extremely fluffy pillow and how desperately it is calling my name at the moment. confession: even though i am missing my man back in utah, it's been kind of nice to just sprawl out and sleep however long i desire. but shhh, don't tell the mister.

anticipating: the big move back up to seattle in just a few short months and the new little home that my man and i will be creating together. i feel my little heart has been "pinning" everything home decor that i am bursting at the seams!! of course, i know that 97% of those things will never make it into my home. curse you overly priced tables, bedding, and sofa. curse you.

listening to: rock mafia's "the big bang". yes, the theme song to mob wives. secret obsession.

eating: potato soup and home made croissants. aw, so good to be home. i forgot what good meals like this tasted like. thanks mom.

wishing: i was backpacking across europe with mr. taylor. the freedom, the unknown, the excitement, the experience. our first stop, ireland. and no, this isn't actually happening. just let me pretend for a little while.

  2. Well, the height thing didn't work out so well for Tom & Nicole, or JLo and Marc - but hey, I'm sure they didn't break up over their respective heights, so J&J will be fine, I'm sure!

How exciting you've got a big move coming up. Change can be scary but there's nothing better than a change of scenery.

  3. You are too gorgeous! Seriously! & your hair looks super amazing in that pic. I may be slightly jealous ;)

Oh I can't wait to get married and decorate my house with my man, it needs to happen now haha. Damn expensive furniture though...

& Yes, Jenn and Josh should get together asap. I love them together!

    I hope you're having a lovely week!

  18. I hope you get to do your dream of touring around Europe. Ireland is such a gorgeous country, especially southern Ireland - it hasn't really been hit by tourists, there's no big tourist industry so you get to see the country for what it really is. Saying that it was rather cold and windy there! And of course you must visit my English homeland!

  22. The post idea is really interesting and I can totally agree with you on this one. I simply love checking out home decor ideas and dreaming about applying them in real life. And 'The big bang' is such a catchy song, I adore the music video, for whatever reason I love Miley Cyrus in it. By the way, could you please follow me back? Thanks in advance. If you don't feel like doing that, just let me know x

  24. this is such a fun post idea. i love it. also, two things:
    1) truly the mob wives song is a good jam. but it is deplorable in origin and thus i am embarrassed to admit it. good to know i'm not alone.

2)i feel the exact same way when husband is gone. miss him dearly, love being able to sleep diagonally and completely star-fished.

    cute post. lovely picture.

  52. Did I tell you that I absolutely love your bucket list? It's inspiring- and it makes life seem waaay too short ;) We could go together, as you've been to America and I have travelled Europe- Paris, London, Barcelona, Rome :) The Colosseum is great if you're standing right in front of it :)
It's extremely impressive if you consider that people like you and me built it all up about two thousand years ago. I really love that aspect of history, this is what interests me :) I've also been to the Amalfi coast in Italy, which was amazingly beautiful. You can visit an ancient Roman city called Pompeji, whose inhabitants all died during a volcanic eruption back then. It's sad, but it's also amazing how lively history gets if you walk those streets... Well, I guess I should stop babbling now- the world has just too many great things to offer :D
Anyways, thanks a lot- I'm flattered that my pictures encourage you to visit Europe.
Oh, and good to know that it's not only my brother not doing his actual tasks ;)
