surprise snow attack

so i think everyone and their mom at this point has come to realize that snow is pretty much my best friend (as long as i don't have to drive in it). i just love it oh so much. and come to my surprise when i woke up yesterday morning to find this beauty waiting for me outside my window.

and what did i do at 7 o'clock in the morning? jump on my sleeping hubby and yell, "it's snowing, it's snowing, it's snowing!" needless to say, he was not as excited as i was. but we enjoyed it none the less!

so here's to a few more winter wonderlands before spring decides to show its little face.

  12. YAY! We briefly got snow here on Saturday. Just long enough to coat the ground lightly & enough time to snap some pictures! An hour later it had all melted. :( But more importantly, what are you doing outside in the snow in such a pretty dress?!?

  22. I've only seen snow like this once in my life, and I quickly fell in love with it. I don't know when I'll get to see it again since I live in Florida, but I cant wait!

  27. We got a snow surprise on Saturday in St. Louis also. My husband woke me up saying there was about 2 inches of snow outside. I thought he was joking. Nope! Everything was covered. I loved it! But, it was all melted by the time we came back home 4 hours later :(

That shovel looks handy!!! Never seen one like that.

  31. Oh my gosh! That is exactly what it looked like outside my window, and my husband was still sleeping so I took my puppy to run and play with me. It is so pretty when its untouched, the first snow fall in a few weeks!

  32. CUTE! I wish I had such a love for snow! I think the only reason I don't like it is because I usually HAVE to go out in it, instead of GET to go out in it. You all got a lot of snow! We are in for some tomorrow, but I don't think it will be as much. Hope you and Mr. Taylor had fun playing in the snow!!! :)

  33. I'm so jealous, we haven't had a real snow storm all winter!

  38. ha, it doesn't look like he enjoyed it if he had to shovel....or at least i wouldn't if i had to shovel :) and I love how you said everyone and their mother. I grew up saying everyone and their brother haha

  39. What a good boy Mr. Taylor is for shoveling that crazy driveway.

  40. I am so jealous!!! We've hardly had anything to speak of here in MN...and I'm like you, I live off of the snow that comes in winter. GREAT photo of the lace skirt/dress (?) over your boots against the snow, super artistic--it's almost like you're wearing snow and standing in it :)

  46. I am jealous. I have never seen "real" snow. I say "real" because my boyfriend took me to Tahoe last summer and there was still patches of snow in the mountains. But that's not the same. I want to see snow!

Enjoy it for me! (Since it doesn't snow here in Florida!)
