awkward and awesome Thursdays

(now that's what i call bed head...)

awkward
- so fair warning, i think i have the weirdest dreams of all time. but i had a dream the other night that i gave birth to a noodle and then i lost it. what could this possibly mean?!
- the mister and i have been on another LOST marathon run. we just finished season 3 where charlie dies. and no matter how many times i have seen this i bawl every time, resulting in humiliating laughs from my man. i seriously get too into my characters. am i alone here or no?
- someone searching "superman being awkward" and finding my blog. i guess that's pretty cool that someone thinks of me as superman...
- going to pick up the hubs from school yesterday in the ever so classic bright red sweatshirt, basketball shorts, high messy bun, and the man's slippers. we do it classy here.
- playing our minute to win it game at the valentine's day party and getting all excited that we won the stacking golf balls challenge, jumping up and down only to realize that my man totally walked off and didn't see the epic moment. every other couple's look of embarrassment for me was enough to put me to shame.

awesome
- spending my first valentine's day as a married woman. and what did our day entail? sleeping in with extra cuddles, mexican for lunch, grocery shopping and holding hands, pasta for dinner with a big glass of martinelli's, and cheesy chick flicks. mr. taylor let me pick any one i want. what a guy :)
- my grandfather being honored as "Sir John" yesterday morning for his efforts in WWII. so proud of you grandpa!
- mr. taylor getting upset that someone else sat next to our cute baby friend at church on sunday instead of us. bless his heart, i think he is starting to finally warm up to babies. not only that, but we were called to fill in for nursery this next week. i'm super pumped! and i think the mister is secretly too.
- discovering that cake bites are perhaps one of the best things ever invented.

  2. You call that bedhead? My bed head is a full on afro! Pair that with my natural red cheeks and I look H.O.T. first thing in the morning. Lucky it's just my fam that get to witness it ;) & oh my gosh, isn't guys with babies so dang attractive? Whenever I see Cruz holding a baby, I think yep lets get married NOW haha it's the best.

  3. Boys with babies. Thats always such a winning combination :) I'm glad your guy likes one enough to be upset when he doesnt get to sit next to it! :D

  4. Some of the things people google search that bring them to my blog really confuse me.

  5. how come a man with a baby is so attractive?

my husband is not as enthusiastic as yours unfortunately. When a baby on the tube smiled at him he just death stared it. I thought maybe he hadn't noticed so I said "he's smiling at you smile back" and my husband just said "why?" so i think I have some way to go hahaha

Maybe it means when you have a baby, it will be skinny haha. and that is funny you guys are on a LOST marathon, my hubby and I never got into when everyone else did and someone recently convinced us to try it out on netflix. It took like 10mins into the 1st episode and we were hooked...currently on season 5 : ) and Happy 1st Valentines Day as a married lady!

ps- my 2 1/2 year old Scarlette is blogging with me and wants to say hi, here she is...xcvbnm,tghjds(my guess is this is what HI looks like as a 2 year old)

  12. Noodles

To see noodles in your dream symbolize longevity and abundance. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are looking for some sort of nourishment. The dream may also be a pun that you need to "use your noodle". In other words, there is something that you need to think long and hard about.

  13. Bahahaaa! I guess you feel like you have "lost your noodle" lately!! :)))

    ReplyDelete
  37. I cry all the time at every show and commercial. Secondly aren't those search keywords funny? I have consistently had "nude cozumel" "little girl slut" (who searches that?!), "creepy house".. everytime I read those I get confused at what content google is pulling from my blog.

finally, i don't know what giving birth to a noodle means. perhaps you have a tape worm??

    ReplyDelete
