holiday guest post {by Blake}

here kicking off the guest posts is the lovely blake! don't you just love her name? not only that but she has a little southern accent that plays out all over her blog. adorable! take a gander, and get in the holiday spirit.

from blake: "Hey y’all! I’m Blake, I write over at Fearless, and I’m super excited to be here at Mr. Taylor & His Lady today {can’t you tell from the picture? And yes, that’s a raccoon wearing a scarf on my shirt.} In keeping with the holiday spirit, I just thought I’d share some of my favorite Christmas things with you. Yeah? Okay."

Alright. These are the essentials. Favorite Christmas movie-Home Alone. The first one. Lost in New York is just as fantastic, it’s just not the original. Favorite Christmas song-White Christmas by the Drifters. How can you not love that doo doo doo doo-ing? It just sounds like Christmas at home to me. And favorite Christmas food? Green bean casserole, y’all. Sometimes my mom  makes me go last through the serving line because she’s afraid I’ll take it all. My mouth is watering now…

I think my favorite Christmas tradition is when my whole family {grandma included} piles in the car and drives around town ooo-ing & aahh-ing at peoples’ Christmas light decorations. We’ve done this since we were kids, hot chocolate and PJ’s, jamming out to Christmas music. And now that I’m older & live away from home, I’m thankful for a family that still appreciates the little things like cutting down our Christmas tree and making sure we’re all home for the holidays.

I hope you guys get to enjoy all of your favorite things this holiday season, most importantly your families. Merry Christmas, y’all!
